Begin your Project with Dynamat
The first step in any successful endeavor is having a good foundation. Dynamic Control has the right material to improve any vibro-acoustic environment. When properly treated with Dynamat, your vehicle becomes more solid and quieter. Your audio system also gains huge benefits in improved sound quality from lower road noise levels and the removal of conflicting resonance. Remember: Dynamat-1st. It's the right start to a great sound.
Where do I use Dynamat?
Dynamat is a thin flexible damping material that stops vibrational noise and distortion at the source. Use Dynamat anywhere a speaker is located to eliminate speaker distortion. Also use Dynamat to stop external, airborne noise from entering the vehicle. Applying Dynamat between you and the harsh automotive environment ensures maximum listening enjoyment and riding comfort.
Choosing the right Dynamat for the job
Dynamic Control offers a wide range of materials both for custom audio installation and to solve most automotive noise and vibrational problems. Dynamat comes in three different grades: Dynamat Xtreme, Dynashield and Dynaplate. Each grade has qualities to fit your specific needs and budget constraints.
For added acoustic benefit and lower frequency attenuation, Dynamic Control makes a number of high-grade acoustic foam composite materials, including Dynaliner, TacMat, and Extremeliner. Each material addresses a typical specific automotive noise issue.
DYNAMAT HOODLINER
|
Get better sound, protect your car's paint finish and get that show car look with a custom thermo-acoustic Dynamat Hoodliner. The Hoodliner's "Sound Soaker" foam absorbs engine noise, delivering a quieter listening environment in your vehicle. In addition, the Hoodliner's 1 mil. reinforced aluminized skin creates a water/oil barrier that reflects up to 97% of radiant heat to protect the hood's paint finish.

DYNAMAT TacMat
|
TacMat takes a scientific approach to conquer two enemies that destroy your driving pleasure: noise and heat. The same technology used in aerospace materials gives TacMat a higher insulating value than fiberglass and sound-reducing capability greater than other materials ten times its weight. A thermo-acoustic cockpit liner, TacMat is approved by DOT FMVSS 302 and passes Federal Aviation Regulations. TacMat uses a unique conversion process that limits the volume and duration of any structure-borne noise within your vehicle's interior.

DYNAMAT TRUNKLINER
|
Applying Dynamat to your car's trunk is absolutely the easiest way to reduce road noise and stop rattles coming from the trunk. Start by adding full coverage Dynamat Original or Dynamat Xtreme. For the best results, apply a Dynamat absorbing foam--Dynaliner or Extremeliner--next. In high heat areas (for example, over a hot exhaust pipe), use Dynamat Xtreme and Extremeliner.

DYNAMAT ROOFLINER
|
Applying Dynamat to the roof of your car can be time consuming, but the results are worth the effort. To lessen noise and provide greater thermal insulation, apply Dynamat Xtreme. (Dynamat Original is not recommended for roofs.) For greater improvements, add TacMat. An average car roof requires approximately 12 square feet of material. SUVs and vans have larger roofs and require more material.
